Don is a senior technology advisor and CIO with several decades of professional experience. He has spent a majority of his career as a Big 4 Consulting partner, leading, and advising on numerous large, complex, and high-risk transformation programs.
Additionally, Don was the Global Lead for Accenture’s Application Modernization practice. Recently Don served as CIO for a global travel organization and previously served as Interim CIO for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Don has led custom development, package installation, technology rationalization and modernization, analytics, and Cloud initiatives, as well as several outsourcing and managed services efforts.
Accenture’s Global Application Modernization Leader. Don was responsible for leading a global, cross-industry team of 600+ delivering Application Rationalization, Application Re-Platforming and Technology Modernization solutions.

HCSC’s Legacy Claims Modernization program: ~$400M program to re-platform and modernize HCSC’s aging legacy membership and claims processing technology.
UHG Claims Modernization Program: ~200M program to modernize UHG’s legacy claims technology. Don led the initial design and planning efforts.
